<Rant>There is not mistake, i always feel that there is some @#$hole at the USCIS or state dept whose only goal in life is to get a sadistic kick by toying with the dates. How can these @#$@#@'s not realize that there is a person behind each visa number </Rant>
Like my title says - Could it be a mistake on their part for EB3 I ? Was it meant to be 15th April 2002 ?
In March of This year it was 15th Oct 2001. Then it goes to U for untli Oct and now its 15th April 2001 (gone back 6 months !!!!) This seems odd for a new fiscal year with new Visa Quota however small EB3I may be - are there still that many 2000-2001 applications pre-adjudicated in the system waiting for a visa that they had to roll it back ?

I will give you a sincere and useful suggestion, that hopefully will be valid to others as well. Please refrain from pulling the race card on people talking about immigration. That makes you look emotional, character assassin and worse, that can make people perceive you as a racist yourself. That is the failed tactics used by illegal aliens and uneducated people when confronted with the reality that their attitude and posture is irrational. As far as I can tell, NumbersUSA objects against Irish people who came here illegally. Therefore I do not see any correlation between racial profiling there as you seem to persist. I am not here to defend NumbersUSA or Lou Dobbs. I am just here to remind you that if we continue following the rationale "us vs them" and doing character assassination, we will undeniably face rough opposition and struggle to get what we deserve.

IF you are in such a big hole, you will have to come forward and work for yourself. We want others to work for us and solve our problems. That is my issue here. With 11.25 K EB3 members we would have still collected quarter million bucks.(@ 25$/person) If EB3-I does not care for itself, why would anybody else give a damn? (PS : I did contribute for the drive as I want everybody's issues with respect to GC resolved, not just mine)

Got receipt notice for I-485/AP/EAD/ from USCIS today (8/30/2007). My package was delivered to Nebraska center on July/27/2007. Notice date is August 21st, 2007. My priority date is Dec/23rd/2003.

I don't know is it the right place to post this. What will be the EB-3 ROW in the coming June Visa Bulletin. I have asked my attorney and got the following response:
Q: I am in the Rest of the world chargeability area. My category is EB-3. My priority date is July 27, 2006. Do you think that my priority date will be current in the coming June 2008 visa bulletin. The May 2008 bulletin's cutoff date in my category and chargebility is March 1, 2006.
A: Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing if your priority date will be become current next month. Sometimes the priority dates stay the same for many months, or become unavailable completely like last summer. At times, the dates may jump many months or even years. We can not speculate when your date will become current, as it is truly unpredictable
Is there any gurus who can give me an idea ?

GC Visa's are per country per year, where as H1's are not per country based, we indians used most H1's and stood in queue for GC's of course there is path so we stood, in fact it is one attraction they used to bring over here, to start with, per country GC visa limit is a poor thought.
GC quota should be better tied to H1 quota or raise the limit and god knows when did they put the numbers per country GC, before H1b program or after H1b program.
H1b program allowed hundred's of thousands to come in, in fact which they encouraged i can dare to say and GC visa count is not according to that and they let all these families to stay in limbo or wait forever is not a good sign.
Irony is majority of these folks are purposed to solve or improve all kinds of problems ranging from improving enterprise's response time from months to minutes or minutes to secs and other kinds improvements, who's families and them selves stuck in a decade long "legal immigration" battle of their life.

Guys,
It's almost 3 weeks today since I've opened SRs for my self and my spouse for not receiving FP notice and we haven't got any notice yet.
I want to know if some one who opened a SR for FP and did not receive any FP notice after the wait period expired, what did you do? Is taking an infopass the next step for missing FP notices or just wait and watch?
