We, residents of Bay Area, are suffering a lot from fingerprinting backlog, due to presence of few ASCs.
Also, my case was receipted at CSC and transferred back to NSC. Such cases are taking unusually longer for FP appointments. This is quite frustrating as there are other people directly receipted at NSC in August who have got fingerpinting.
I would greatly appreciate if you could take steps to speed up the process of fingerpinting appointments.

Did you noticed any LUD before check cashing as you got receipt from california. I filed on July 20 and no news yet.
Not sure of LUD. Today I checked online account and I saw checks got cashed and receipt #'s starting with WAC at the back of the check.
Waiting for the scanned copies of receipts from Attorney.

Nma check is history now. After filed I-485, and 180 days passed, name check is not a factor for GC. If your NC is pending, still they issue you a GC.

Yes, it would "improve" Name Check with coparision to what we have observed so far. But it still have following loop holes and flaws.

from 485 receipt date. Nobody knows when USCIS will initiate FBI Name
Check. So I see a big playground for USCIS to play if it decides to play.
What if uSCIS sends FBI name check initiation after 2 years of 485 receipt?
Do we have a way to know or keep an eye on USCIS about this? At least I
do not know and if somebody has the information please share it.
(2) "If 485 Otherwise is processable" then USCIS can go ahead without
waiting for NC check... What if USCIS decides to keep 100000 cases on
rack eating dust just by not moving the processing date for particular
service center? This you can see right now.. USCIS is making Texas slow
day by day not moving processing date. I remember Texas was ahead
with comparison to Nebraska around May to August 2007. If this happens your case is no more "processable".. Yes you can say that you are not stuck in NC queue but you will be stuck. USCIS may come up with altogether different startegy... To align processing times with FBI processing and FBI NC initiation. That may screw the things further.

Renewal application for EAD filed on July 30th for self and spouse. Checks have been cashed and got receipt number from the back of the checks.

Did you send out the latest letters...I am getting a positive feed back ..that approximately at least 500 letters have gone out..we started to make noise.. and we will see the results eventually...More action items will follow in comming weeks..Dont forget the high five though campaign though ;)

Please do so so they receive a variety of letters. I've done it. I e-mailed them and faxed them with my personal letter and with a letter based on Iv template. This is our time so please guys don't give up and fax your personal letter.

Got receipt notice for I-485/AP/EAD/ from USCIS today (8/30/2007). My package was delivered to Nebraska center on July/27/2007. Notice date is August 21st, 2007. My priority date is Dec/23rd/2003.

Yes .. you can start a company on h1 ..
but as per h1 laws .. you can only work for your employer
So essentially you cannot do any work for your company .. no soliciting business, HR .. nothing.
So what you do is partner with someone who is on GC .. so you can get work done .. or hire employees for everything.
Starting company is easy LLC, C, S corp .. no issues

I have copy of that letter but it mentions the title and salary no job desc.
Possibly, that's what you need. If you can get a similar letter (same title with same, or a bit more, salary) from your new employer it should work.
Did you ever get (or ask for) your I-140 filing? It should have a copy of the LC application, and job description.

This event has been registered at SJPD but no permit was issued.
Having a permit means you can block the traffic.
Without a permit, we are required to stay on sidewalks.
The police put down my name, driver license # and address.
However, when I asked if I have any liability for others fault, the ploice said NO. Everybody abides by law for himself.

We made news at USCIS! Whatever he does with the flowers is not our concern. The fact is we made the news there. Hopefully the media will pay attention too.

Per my lawyer,
1. USCIS does not mandate that you must inform when you invoke AC21. You can inform them if and when you get RFE.
2. I strongly believe that we should not accept job offers that is not related to the job you originally applied for. My lawyer says it is usually vague and if USCIS determines other wise I will be in trouble. And for the same reason I am hesitant to accept very good employee offer from my current client.
3. Self employment is ok as long as the requirements are met and that is what is I am doing now.
You are not informing USCIS about it .
So just just accept employment from another employer ..just change the job or is there any paperwork involded like transfer of any documents or GC processing ?
