Hello Everyone,
My checks were cashed yesterday. My application reached NSC on July 14. My I-140 was also approved from NSC.
I got the receipt numbers from the back of the checks, however when I entered them on the USCIS website, it said that the numbers were invalid. Any idea if I need to wait another day or so before the system will accept them?

thanks for taking the initiative and donating again manish1905. It is sad to see only a few 100 'active. Most people want to see results before donating, but most don't realize we can't get results without thousands working first for many months.
So its up to us to work extra hard to achieve things that will benefit 500,000 people.
Things like Visa Recapture, which benefit 100s of thousands benefit everyone including EB3, as there are only about 40-60,000 EB2s left.

I was told by IO at info pass that my case was with an officer on Aug 05 , got CPO on 25

As per the discussion's from other threads about LUD, it's been largerly agreed that there is no relavance between the LUD change/not change to one's 485 application. Hopes this will clear your doubt.

You being US citizen or president of USA does not mean much to us! I have requested you to show me "so called 30 day rule" on any of the official web site (For example USCIS). I have asked you this several times. Every time You just direct us to some lawyer's web site/university web site and expect us to believe them.

It is correct. We are talking about both kinds of kids. And saying that not having greencard affects the quality of life for the family.

Firstly let me say that the Dems taking the house is the only hope I see for change near term. If the Republicans take it then they will feel vindicated on their stand and stick to it especially in view of the current unpopularity of Pres. Bush.
Democrats normally sing the tune of organised labour on such issues. Organised labour is clear that they want the immigrants that come not to be exploited. In otherwords, if you let them come then treat them well as they are now part of the labour pool. This idea has some intrinsic merit. If you analyse things, it is usually during the long drawn out protracted green card process that unscrupulous employers take the most advantage.
Indeed the deluge of illegals will be a blight on the processing times, however without visa numbers there is absolutely no hope for EB India in the near term anyway. We have to hope for the lesser of two evils now.

Isn't that they have completed input and receipt issuance for cases received by certain date (late Aug.?) according to their update? How come so many July filers still have not received receipts? Weird!
No, it seems as per the latest USCIS update (on Sept 7, 2007) the NSC has completed issuing receipt notices till July 28, 2007, and TSC till July 2, 2007.
Do you have any other updates?

Thats not true. My PD is March 2005. When my PD comes, I have to apply for EAD whereas others will get GC. Oh such a screwed up system.

Folks have you noticed the options on dice when you have to fill up your profile. makes you choose if you are EAD or GC or Citizen or h1b or any other. Now, does it not create a situation where employers can filter you?
In all other websites like Monster, hotjobs etc... the choices are
(1) Authorized to work for any employer
(2) Authorized to work for currrent employer
.....
.....
which makes more sense.

Try to lift one single crab from a vessel full of crabs, other crabs will try their best to pull that one back. Same mentality is at play here - if I don't get it nobody else should get it. Don't you guys feel shamed to act so self-centered and selfish like crabs?

This event cannot run based on MLM or false promises.
It can be successful only if every member understands their contribution and participation is key for this event and they are the one who can solve their immigration issue by taking this event seriously.
